Prevention of unacceptable behavior is the goal and is reached by implementing good management principles. If behavior
problems do occur, behavior consultations are set up. The principles of behavior modification with or without
medication are implemented as needed. Canine Communication classes are given to aid in the development of the
human animal bond. In this way, we reach the goal of a companion animal who is a joy for their owner and themselves.
To prepare for a behavioral consultation, please fill out the appropriate form completely and return it to our office as soon
as possible. If you are able to videotape your pets’ behavior, please include the videotape or bring it with you at the time of your
appointment. You should schedule the behavioral consultation at least one week in advance post receipt of your questionnaire;
appointments will be set up on a Wednesday or Saturday. Please call 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule your
appointment.
